HI! I've been really, really busy lately, which is why I haven't been working on my web page much. I've been eating and rolling around a whole lot, which takes up most of my time.

I'm getting a tooth! That's pretty exciting! The bad part of that is that mommy and papa don't let me bite their fingers as much anymore, but I'm not sure why. Their fingers still taste the same, so I don't understand why they don't want me to nibble on them.

I've been trying to crawl lately, but it is tough to do when everyone keeps picking me up all the time! I can't help it if I'm so cute and cuddly.

You're probably interested in my stats (especially since there aren't any new pictures!) Well, I think I weigh about 22 pounds now. I'm almost 8 and a half months old. I like to stand up, but I'm not too steady. It sure helps a lot when there are big people around to catch me!

Maybe someday Papa will hook up the scanner again so that you all can see what I look like now. Mommy is selling scrapbook stuff and right now she has a special that if you order an album from her, she'll include some really cute pictures of me to get you started! If I wasn't able to see myself every day, I know I would do this!

Well, I'm not quite full anymore so I'm going to cry until I get fed. Then, I think I'll take a little nap. I'll try to update this page again when I'm not too busy!

10/4/99 - I haven't been traveling much lately, so I don't have a lot of adventures to share. I've been busy eating and sleeping a lot. It's tough to be this cute!

I might be getting a tooth. I cry a lot for no other apparent reason and I have a bump on my lower gums. I also slobber a lot but I've always done that!

I heard a rumor that daddy is actually going to be putting up more pictures of me soon. That's pretty good because I think the newest ones that are up now are from when I was a month old or less. That's a long time ago!

Well, I'm going to cry until mommy picks me up and then I'm going to pull her nose. He he he he!

9/9/99 - Well, I'm going to be 4 months old in just 2 days, so I figured I should take a little time out of my busy day to let everyone know what I've been up to. I went to Tulsa again last weekend. It was okay to be there but I am getting really tired of that ride! It's just too long for a guy like me to sit there. I have things to do! Speaking of having things to do, I rolled over for the first time this past Monday! I did it again last night for my mom because she didn't see the first one. I am very proud of myself, and so are mommy and daddy. I think I'll try crawling sometime soon, when my schedule permits it.

Well, I'm starting to get hungry so I think I'm going to go cry now. Talk to you later!

I've sure been busy lately! I guess you can tell that since I haven't updated my web page in so long.

I am now over 3 months old! Whew! I sure feel like I'm getting old. I weigh over 16 pounds and I'm probably about 26 inches long. Some people say I'm pretty big, but I think momma and daddy are starving me. At least that's what I tell them!

I spent the last week in Tulsa. It was a little cooler than Dallas, but not much. Since the last time I wrote, I've also been to Colorado to visit with my cousin Ben. He's funny. I might get to put some pictures of us together here on this page if daddy ever gets the scanner working again.

I'm glad to be home now. I get to see Bill and Andrea next weekend. I sort of remember them, I met them once when I was in Tulsa. Hopefully Patrick and his new wife will visit me soon and so will Mike and Nathan from Houston. Luckily, I get to see Travis all the time. He's funny. He has longer hair than my mom, but he's a boy!

Well, I'm getting sleepy again. I guess I'll go. I like getting email so if you're reading this SEND ME SOME!!!!!

Well, I guess I should tell you what's been going on. My daddy's been fighting with his computer a lot lately, so there aren't any new pictures to show you. Oh, well. You can take my word for it, I'm still cute.

The trip to Tulsa was okay. I met a lot of people there, and some of them had on too much perfume. Stinky!! I also got real tired and a little cranky. I sure slept good once I got home, though!

On the weekend of the 4th of July, I went to visit my great-grandparents near Red Oak, Oklahoma. It was a lot of fun out there. I got to see a really big tree that fell down. There was a lot of people there that wanted to hold me, so I let most of them.

Well, I'm getting tired again. I guess I'll talk to you again soon!

I decided to redesign my page since it was getting a little crowded. Now, you can go to my different groups of pictures by clicking on the names in the left frame. It's also easier to find my email address and my home page. I'll also be able to add things easier. I think I'm getting the hang of web page design. Now I just have to scan more pictures!

In more personal news, I got to go see the Stanley Cup recently. My daddy even showed me where Butch Bouchard's name was engraved on it. We have pictures (in group 3) but they are kind of grainy.

I've been pretty busy lately. It seems like I see my mommy's parents every weekend! I see my daddy's parents a lot too, but usually they make me go over there instead of them coming to see me.

On some of my recent adventures, I went shopping with mommy and daddy at Wal-Mart. They say I use a lot of diapers and baby-wipes, so they have to go there some times. I think mommy just wanted that candy bar. I also went and saw my cousin Ben at Becky and Duke's house. Aunt Katie was there also. It was a lot of fun. Ben poked my nose, but I didn't cry until I got hungry. Then I cried hard!!

Well, this weekend mommy and daddy are taking me some place called "Tulsa". I hope it is like the coffee shop, because I like to sleep there. I guess I'll see. I think a bunch of people are going to stare at me and make funny noises once I get there, but I'm not positive. I guess I'll let you know.

Well, here I am!  I've been home less than 24 hours and already there are people wanting to see my web page, so I decided I'd better get to it!

My name is Joseph Charles Bouchard.  I was born May 11, 1999 at 8:10 pm at Las Colinas Medical Center in Irving.  My parents, Christy and David, tell me I was 8 pounds 2 ounces and 19.5 inches long, but I don't really know what that means.  My Grandma Becky, Grandpa Duke, Grandma Mary Ann, Aunt Katie, Uncle Dean, and Aunt Pam were all there to greet me.  Aunt Sheila and Nephew Nathaniel came and visited a little later.  I felt like a celebrity!  Everyone was wanting to take their picture with me, and they wanted to get my footprints!

Now that I'm home, things have calmed down.  I've been mostly eating, sleeping, and messing up my diapers. When I'm not doing those things, I like to cry and work on my web page.  I stay pretty busy.

Well, I know that you didn't come here to listen to me ramble.  You get enough of that on Daddy's page.  You want to see pictures.  Well, here they are!!

Oh, yeah, there is no truth to the rumor that my daddy named me after Joe Nieuwendyk of the Dallas Stars.  Mommy and Daddy just liked the name Joseph.

NEWS:

I went to the doctor today for a checkup (5/18/99).  I'm back up to 8 pounds, 2 ounces, so that's real good.  I am also 21 inches long, which is 1.5 inches more than a week ago.  The doctor said that I was probably scrunched up when they measured me at the hospital, but I think I've grown.  After all, I weigh the same, but I have one less chin.  I also went shopping with mom and dad for the first time today.  We went to Target.  I stayed awake the whole time, but I was real tired when we got home.  I tried to get mommy to buy me some Woody the Cowboy bubble bath, but she didn't think I needed it.  Maybe next time.
